The rules of the game are simple: the goal is to get rid of all your cards before someone else does. The first player to run out of cards becomes the President 👑, while the last player to run out of cards becomes the Scum 😜. The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards and the order of the cards from highest to lowest is: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A.

The game is played in rounds, and each round starts with the President and Scum from the previous round shuffling the deck and dealing the cards. The President leads by playing any combination of cards that outranks the previous play. Other players must follow by playing cards of equal or higher value, or pass if they can’t. The scum is always the last to act and must give the President their two highest-ranked cards, receiving the President’s two lowest-ranked cards in return — the same swap happens between second and third place with one card each.
