First app I found that actually registers the B string on my bass. Easy to use and simple GUI. Free, no ads, no bs, and it has a dark mode so you don't have to burn your eyes out. 5/5 [edit] After further use there are definitely issues with lower registers. I'm aware this is more an issue of hardware, so the app still gets 5/5. Just don't expect it to work well with an extended rage instrument, and definitely don't blame the app or developer(s).

Before I knew how to tune the bass (I kinda still dont, because I gotta use this super awesome app) I used to get all sad and walk the path of, I'll never be good enough to play the funky jam. Before I knew it, I was turning my sadness into anger and using my bass as a weapon. Roaming the dark nights of the full moon and knocking bandits up the side of the head, with no remorse. I felt bad sometimes and would find myself holding back tears with a soggy face of shame. This app saved my life. 💖💯

This is just what your looking for. It either auto selects the string or you can just touch the string that your working on and it gives you a graphical version of a needle frequency gage. Easy to use and no compelling you to buy a thing that costs a monthly subscription amount.
