About this app

This app implements The Circle of Fifths and allows you to figure out chord progressions (e.g. I, IV, V) in any key, it also helps you understand musical Modes, and offers basic chord diagrams with the Root, 3rd and 5th note highlighted so you can better understand the fret board. This app is aimed at the guitarist who wants to improve their musical theory. It's built with Flutter and offered completely free of charge with no ads.

It's a simple app, made with love in Newark, NJ. All feedback is welcomed and I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.

Good app that gives all the major (and minor) chord structures for key signatures. It is also nicely set out and very clear. But as some reviews have suggested, although technically correct, a Gb should be written as F# (in the G key and D key). Not really an issue for myself, but if someone is learning theory it may be a little confusing. 4 stars.

The circle of fifths is s powerful tool for anyone trying to become a musician - and this little app lets you exploit it. Simple to use, it helps you become familiar with so many aspects of music theory, and is a practical tool when, for example, you need to know a chord progression but don't yet have everything in your head. I used tio carry a diagram of the circle with me..this is more convenient, faster and better. First learn what the circle can do for you, and then do it with this app :)

Great app but needs work. There will be people learning theory from this, thinking that there is a Gb Minor in the key of G! This should be labelled F#. I know that Gb is the same pitch as F# but the app is not labelled correctly in any of the sharp keys. This contradicts the correct labelling in the centre and will cause confusion. As a tool for the casual guitarist learning chord shapes it is fantastic but if you want to learn theory correctly, look elsewhere.
